COVID-19: Status of Our Offices

We have taken steps to minimize work in our offices, and help contain the spread of COVID-19.

To our Clients and Friends,

As circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 emergency have evolved, we have closely monitored the recommendations of government health authorities. We take seriously our role in contributing to the overall health and safety of our colleagues, clients, and communities.

With that in mind, since last week, Estudio Trevisán is gradually moving to a remote work environment in our Buenos Aires offices. Though we are, thankfully, not aware of any of our people testing positive for the virus at this point, we want to do our part in containing its spread.

After ensuring the health and safety of everyone in the Estudio Trevisán family, our top priority is continuing to be there for our clients in these challenging times. Consequently, we are minimizing the work at our offices and, notwithstanding our offices continue to be opened and operative, most of our lawyers and staff are working remotely, and communicating via the firm’s systems designed to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of client documents. Should total isolation be recommended or necessary, we will be in a position to immediately close our offices and fully migrate to remote working mode.

We are in continuous communication with our clients, and our lawyers are using the latest technology to serve clients seamlessly. We have also implemented a number of other measures over the past few weeks, including suspending non-essential travel, enhancing our office protocols to ensure we provide the healthiest work environment possible, and taking a risk-based approach to cancelling major gatherings.

Our thoughts are with those currently affected by the virus. We will provide further updates as needed, but please don’t hesitate to reach out to us with questions or concerns.
